What? Demonstration against the AfD Party convention in Ulm
A month ago, it was revealed that the far right party AfD Baden- Württemberg will hold two party conventions in Ulm this autumn. The party conventions will take place on October 5 and 6 and November 9 and 10 at Ulmer Messe. They will nominate their candidates for next year’s federal elections. These will be the largest extreme right-wing events in Ulm since the National Democratic Party of Germany (NPD) demonstration on May 1, 2009, 15 years ago.
This concerns us all! It is now more important than ever to protest loudly and in diverse ways and not to let this go unchallenged.
On the first date October 5, we want to march with you in a powerful demonstration through the city to Ulmer Messe (Ulm exhibition center) in the morning. We will join the protest rally there. We want to carry our protest and our anger through the city directly to the arriving AfD members.
We will not welcome the AfD and will not let them spread their hate and plan their agitation undisturbed. We will start at 8 a.m. at Ulm Theater and walk together to Ulmer Messe.
We call on everyone to take to the streets with us and stand up together against the right!
The AfD and the shift to the right concerns us all. We want all people to be able to demonstrate with us in a broad and diverse demonstration – exactly what the AfD does not want!
